  • Came here for lunch, and had a great experience. Service was great, the food was good, and the prices are very reasonable. For a quick lunch or dinner spot (and in a restaurant that is not too touristy) this is a great option.

  • Pleasantly surprised by this lovely neighbourhood restaurant. Great value compared to places over the river. We loved the burrata and meatball pasta, service was great. Very authentic

  • Fantastic local dining experience in this little gem of a restaurant. The papardella pasta with porcini mushrooms was fresh homemade pasta with a subtle creamy sauce laden with shrooms. Simple but sooo delicious. Hosts were attentive and charming and the house red just fine. Definitely recommended for a simple yet deeply satisfying meal

  • By far the most authentic restaurant I have been to in Verona. It is a family owned establishment, the service is very quick and kind, and the owner is obviously very passionate and takes care of his customers. Open late and affordable!

  • My first stop when I come to Verona. I crave their Chicken alla Pugliese when I am away- it’s made by the owners wife and is outstanding.... truly my favorite chicken in the world. And €10. I take myself there for lunch and I’m smiling the rest of the day. Atmosphere? Like your nonna and nonno’s house, and that’s why it feels like home. Personal relics on the walls, photos, a menu comprised of true home cooking. What are you craving? I’ve never gotten the pizza but go here for: *polpo & potatoes *chicken alla pugliese *pasta with butter & cheese Just brought my bf and we ate our entrees, bread, table wine, and mineral water for €25 total. In the US, that would only cover my 2 glasses of wine... it’s insane how good the prices are for a delicious dinner.

  • Seemed like local favorites in Verona. Near the university. Affordable price with delicious selections. We had several appetizers and then a dish each. Mine was a pasta (looked like half of a gnocchi) in a tomato based sauce. Also the wine was delicious! Strongly recommended when you are in town. Italian is the norm but at least one waitress knew English.

  • One of the best -and the last- family restaurant in Verona. South style cooking with wonderful and comfy atmosphere. Hand made food, great orecchiette pasta with cime di rapa (a must here).
